Eclipse !

tomorrow morning there will be an Eclipse and just about anyone will be able to see it. Unfortunately, the only way you’ll be able to view this phenomenon is by having special glasses that you can pick up in your local supermarket if they do this sort of thing ?

A bit late on the update (forgive me) but tonight, and tomorrow night, the 27th, you’ll be able to see the Asteroid 2004-BL86.

Very clear out tonight, so captured this star trail..

I’ve had some good luck so far with the skies here in the UK. Managed to do a spot of stargazing before these storms come in.

Found this picture I took of The Moon and Saturn (through my telescope) back in June. As much as I love the skies above in the winter, summer also has its advantages..

Stargazing is my favourite thing to do this time of year.

Stars.. And more stars.

Tonight was a very very clear night for me and couldn’t give up the opportunity for some stargazing. Had a good view of the Andromeda Galaxy, Betelgeuse, Sirius and a few other. I decided to set up my tripod and used that App on my phone I use (Night Cap) to try capture the stars and their light trails. This was the end results, even got the flight path of a plane..

Apps for phones.

Just downloaded an app called ‘Nightcap Pro’. It’s a pretty awesome app in my opinion.
I’ve just done a quick test and with the slow shutter, I got these pics..
